Depending on the technique used after lengthening surgery, the patient may remain scarred. The method that leaves the least trace is nail extension surgery that can extend from the inside. There are 6 scars of 1-2 cm for each side. Even if the wound is sewn with an aesthetic stitch, very few scars may remain due to elongation. In the second stage, after removing the nail inside, the wound of the patient can be sutured aesthetically. however, in case of complications, it may be necessary to open a larger wound. In extension surgery over fixator assisted nail, external fixator will be applied externally, and here would be the trace of shanz screws to be created. Depends on the size of the extension to be made and does not disappear over time
