Operations Under The Age Of 18

kepçe kulak“As you said, this is one of the frequently asked questions. We can perform cosmetic surgeries on people over the age of 18.

Of course there are some exceptions to this. For example, we can perform otoplasty around the age of 6 years.

Likewise, another operation that we can do before the age of 18 is gynecomastia operations.

In this operation, which is referred to as male breast enlargement, if the breast is still enlarged despite completing puberty, gynecomastia operation can be performed before the age of 18.

Another exceptional case is; We can perform rhinoplasty for our 17-year-old female patients.

It should never be forgotten that it is very important to be ready for aesthetic operations not only physically but also mentally. For this reason, aesthetic operations other than all of these are ideal after the age of 18.

The World Health Organization defines individuals under the age of 18 as children.

Even with the consent and approval of their parents, I especially care about breast augmentation surgeries after the age of 18 in my own clinic.

We Look at the Risk Scale For The Upper Limit

age and beautyLet's look at the upper limits. It is difficult to set a limit for this. We also do the tests we do for our elderly patients before each operation, and the results give us a risk scale between 1 and 6.

If it is over 3, we re-evaluate the risks we will take. We can often prefer non-surgical, medical treatments. Now, if you wish, let's take a look at the treatments preferred by age:

20s

20'sRhinoplasty continues to be quite popular among patients in their 20s. In addition, breast augmentation surgeries are highly preferred for this age group.

30s

30'sBotox is the most popular treatment that has been leading the way for the last 10 years . When it comes to surgical procedures, liposuction is a popular choice and again, breast augmentation remains popular.

Women who do not plan to have children generally prefer maternal aesthetics to return the body to its pre-pregnancy shape.

Procedures such as liposuction , tummy tuck and breast lift surgery are usually performed together for a rejuvenated new appearance of the mother.

40's and Early 50's

40's and 50'sThe signs of aging may begin to appear in the 30s, but in the 40s and early 50s, aging is in full swing. Patients in this age group love procedures that help them maintain their youthful appearance.

Blepharoplasty is the most popular procedure for this age and is a really great way to give yourself a rejuvenated look.

In addition, endoscopic face lift is among the treatments we frequently apply to this age group. Preventive care at this age can help you avoid more extensive surgeries later on.

55 and After

55'sYou can still look great after 50. A facelift is the most popular procedure for patients over 55. Botox and dermal fillers are also extremely popular in this age group.”
