Major Healthcare Scam and Free Cosmetic Surgery in America

Former executive who received $44 million for cosmetic procedures billed as "medically necessary" admitted to healthcare fraud.

Linda Morrow, her doctor husband, was the former executive director of a surgical center that helped Bilk insurance companies $44 million in cosmetic procedures billed as "medically necessary."

Morrow pleaded guilty to health fraud on Friday, February 4, 2022. Captured in Israel after fleeing the country following the indictment, Morrow will serve up to 20 years in federal prison.

Her husband, Dr. David Morrow is a 20-year-old doctor.

65 Million Dollar Bill

The former managing director of the Morrow Institute clinic pleaded guilty to a healthcare fraud conspiracy in U.S. District Court on Friday, in which he billed insurance companies between $25 million and $65 million from 2007 to 2011 for cosmetic procedures alone.

She was sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.

They promised patients free liposuction, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and vaginal rejuvenation if they helped shuffle paperwork by signing "testimony" letters or statements with false statements.

Tummy Tuck, Rhinoplasty and More

Abdominal stretches were listed in the paperwork as hernia repair or abdominal reconstruction. Rhinoplasty was recorded as correcting a deviated septum. They declared it as the correction of "tuberous breast deformity" of breast aesthetics.

Prosecutors said Linda Morrow admitted to coaching employees in preparing forged documents. According to court documents, other documents were altered to cover up the true purpose of the surgery.

Some patients were even paid cash as incentives and others were not required to make high co-insurance payments.

License Revoked

David Morrow, 77, who fled the country with his wife in 2017 after pleading guilty, is serving a 20-year sentence. His plastic surgeon license was taken away.
