Google offers many different types of ads, and choosing the right ones for your business is extremely important.

The six main types are search, view, shop, video, universal app, and Gmail. Let's look at each in more detail so you can decide which one will help you achieve your goals.

Responsive Text Ads:

These ads are great for mobile users as they are designed to make the most of screen space.
 

Display Ads:

This network includes more than 2 million sites reaching 90% of all internet users worldwide.

Use an image that matches your brand identity and have a landing page with more information about what you do, or a way for people to book a free consultation with you.
 
You can create a display ad by searching. Display ads are especially useful when it comes to reaching new customers, but they also work as part of a retargeting strategy.

YouTube Video Ads:

youtubeThese are very similar to display ads; they are visual, may contain images or videos in addition to text, and are often used to raise awareness about your brand, not to generate direct sales or leads.

The biggest difference between display ads and YouTube video ads is where they appear; YouTube video ads can show on YouTube pages, while display ads can show on any web page.

Shopping Ads:

These ads are different from other types of display ads because the viewer is already busy with the content of the ad in their inbox!

The purpose of these ads is not to sell immediately, but rather to stay in mind and remind people that you exist.
